This isn't a question. I was reading about Stan Lee's life recently, and someone online mentioned that he was one of the first comic book editors to try and reach out to his readers, let their voices be heard and treat them like friends rather than consumers. It reminded me of you guys a little bit. :)
Judging by certain answers, the coming months will have many lineup changes. Are you guys more into stable schedules (last a few months) or rapidly changing schedules (like only lasting for a month or less)?
We vastly prefer a settled schedule, historically its better for ratings growth. That said, when a show ends you have to shuffle things up! We just hope our loyal fans stick with us. There will always be ups and downs in the TV world. :)
Are you guys gonna play the final episode of Bleach in its entirety? The ending music/credits gets intertwined into the episode and there's a little part of the episode still going on after the credits ends.
We know that, and we’re working out how that will work now. But don’t worry, we won’t chop it up!
Dear Toonami, why are some animes like Naruto and Bleach hundreds of episodes long, but most others like Blue Exorcist or NGE are only 24-26 episodes long?
That’s really just due to the popularity of certain shows and their manga. 26s episodes is somewhat of a standard order for a series, especially these days. But if a show and its manga are MASSIVE hits, then there is the possibility they will go on and on….
This is a shout-out to you guys. Thanks for keeping a rotation of shows going. Thanks to that, it's a great opportunity to watch shows I never heard of or would have even given a chance. From the stuff that surprised me at how fantastic it was, like Space Dandy, and even the stuff that was [gets on soapbox] just okay, like Blue Exorcist [end opinion] I'm able to see it and make my own opinions. Stay awesome!
Why does Adult Swim have trippy commercials? I know they do acid! No better explanation
We’ll answer this even though it’s not Toonami related. The answer is, because Adult Swim likes to be different. And no, we’re not all on drugs. Most of us are sober nerds, we’re just weirdos. We like art and comedy that don’t appeal to everyone.
Hey Toonami, you guys have the best lineup for watching with friends--I know because I watch it with my friend circle every Saturday, and we can't wait for Space Dandy reruns to watch from the start! Stay dandy! :)
